With all of the creative designers and clients we work with, innovative pieces and programs are coming through GLS on a regular basis. The President’s Choice award was created to recognize the people and companies who design, create or develop these unique projects. The winners you see here received the President’s Choice award because they were extraordinarily creative, innovative or just plain out-of-the-box thinking.

Congratulations to Hunt Adkins, a premier Minneapolis-based advertising agency and winner of this summer’s President’s Choice Award. The agency was selected for its high-impact retailer presentation package showcasing the all-new design for Nutrisoda, a division of Pepsi Americas.

Hunt Adkins was charged with a new re-design of Nutrisoda cans to better distinguish the brand from that of energy drinks. To present the re-branded and re-formulated product to retailers, they developed creative concepts and worked with GLS as a consulting partner in developing the details of the kit’s final look and feel.

Consulting with GLS Account Executive John LaBahn and the GLS team, the agency incorporated a number of high-impact features including a sleek, secure magnetic flap closure, die-cut and imprinted enclosures for sample cans, and an internal pocket for collateral material—all printed on UV coated stock—highlighting the agency’s vibrant product photography for a highly finished, attention-grabbing look.

The project employed a wide range of GLS services from consulting, CAD design and package fabrication, to UV printing, finishing and fulfillment.
