Congratulations to Minneapolis-based marketing firm RPM Connect, this
Fall’s winner of the President’s Choice Award for a high-impact 3-D
promotional mailer—created on behalf of their client ConAga and its
launch of Healthy Choice Fresh Mixers microwave lunches at Kroger
grocery stores.
Forming a team with GLS, led by Account Executive Dick Krismer, Print
Buyer Cari Degan, Art Director Kelly Bartell and Managing Director Don
Henry wanted to grab the attention of store managers and they needed
it all: a stunning 3-D package, promotional copy highlighting product
strengths, imprinted promotional products and a product sample too.
Imprinted with a leather-grain look, the mini briefcase mailer sports
a real briefcase handle and, inside, a spiral bound notebook, pen and
pencil set and a die-cut holder for the product sample.
GLS did it all. “They found a great handle to make it look real,
sourced the promotional products, did all the printing and mailing,
too,” said Degan. Keeping costs down, RPM Connect used GLS’s Indigo
digital printing on the notebook, a significant cost saver on short
runs.
“They loved it,” said Kelly, speaking of their clients at ConAgra
and Kroger. “They even ordered extras.”
“We were privileged to partner with RPM Connect on the project,” said

example of dimensional marketing and we’re proud that we could be a
one-stop-shop for RPM Connect.”
