Trust: The Greatest Asset of All
Sit Investment
Associates knows its greatest asset is its long-term relationships
with clients. The company has worked hard to build these relationships
with a foundation of trust, commitment, understanding and
expertise.
|
As communications coordinator for Sit Investment
Associates, Kathleen Larkin knows that these foundations are also
important in selecting the right printer. “I’ve bought print for
more than 20 years from many companies,” she says, “and it is the
staff that distinguishes one printer from another.”
Larkin recalls the first time she placed an order
with Dave Tich, her GLS account executive. “Dave sold me on the
company’s technological edge, around-the-clock production and mailing
services-but it was the customer service that brought me back.”
One of the qualities that Larkin likes best about
GLS is the level of customer service, regardless of the size of
the job. Recently, Larkin encountered a situation that put her trust
in GLS to the test. In April, as she was busy preparing for a company
event in June, she received some surprising news. The event would
be re-scheduled-for May instead of June!
GLS had been scheduled to print a number of pieces
for her-invitations, programs, RSVP cards and other marketing materials.
Larkin wondered if Tich would be able to accommodate the new schedule.
With the clock suddenly ticking louder than ever, she immediately
called Tich to see what he could do.

“Dave moved mountains to get our pieces ready,”
she said. Even though the lead-time was shortened by more than one
month, Larkin knew that GLS would be able to deliver.
She believes this says a lot about GLS, especially
since the quantities for this project were relatively low. “Even
though it wasn’t the biggest job in the world,” she says, “the level
of service carried through.” Larkin is impressed by the fact that
each project at GLS is treated with importance, regardless of the
dollar value.
Over the years, GLS has handled many projects for
Sit Investment Associates-including printing, mailing, assembly,
fulfillment, inventory management and more. Larkin notes that the
majority of her firm’s publications are reports, with content and
publishing deadlines that are regulated by the Securities Exchange
Commission (SEC).
GLS has been vital in helping Sit Investment Associates
meet the SEC’s standards for both. On those occasions when she has
requested accelerated service, Larkin says GLS has “always answered
those calls-revealing the exceptional efforts and cooperation of
the GLS team.”
One of the things that Larkin appreciates most
is Tich's knowledge of the printing industry. “I rely on that expertise
in every one of my projects,” she says. “He follows a job from start
to finish and keeps me updated at every point. GLS’s range of services
make my job easier.”
Larkin says she stays with GLS because the breadth
of services matches the quality of service. “It’s great to work
with a company whose standards are as high as mine.”
