Account executive Gary Alderman has a background that gives him first-hand knowledge of what his clients need to do to achieve their final goals.
As an artist who spent 15 years in various creative roles before starting his printing sales career, Gary can identify with the production challenges that many GLS clients face. His career path started in 1969 when joined a local company called Economics Laboratory (now Ecolab). Over the next 15 years, Gary moved from artist to art director to production manager, spending his last 5 years running Ecolab's in-house art department and print shop.
Gary joined Litho, Inc. in 1984 and has been in sales ever since. He became a GLS employee when Litho was acquired in 2006. Gary is known for being well-organized, and he is often able to help his clients avoid pitfalls by anticipating problems before they happen. When Gary sees his clients' concepts come to fruition in the final printed piece, it gives him a great sense of satisfaction. He says he feels fortunate to work with wonderful clients who make each day something to look forward to.
Gary has been married to his lovely bride for 39 years. They are proud parents of two adult children-a son, as well as a daughter who recently married and added a wonderful son-in-law to the family. Gary's true passion is fishing, whether throwing a line from his boat or standing in a river somewhere. To unwind, Gary prefers to be outdoors or relaxing at his lake home in Brainerd, Minnesota.
