You might say account executive Ralph Tuff has printing in his blood. Ralph grew up in northern Minnesota, where his father was the local newspaper publisher. It was a family-run business, and Ralph was immersed in the printing culture almost from birth – rumor has it that the rumbling presses would put Ralph to sleep as an infant. Ironically, now it is the printing presses that keep him awake at all hours!
Ralph attended Hamline University in Saint Paul, where he double-majored in business management and psychology while competing in football and track. In 1989, he graduated cum laude and joined the printing sales team at Litho of Minnesota that same year.
For Ralph, the printing industry is still as exciting as ever. He says there is "never a dull moment," and he thrives on the challenge of finding solutions to clients' unique challenges. Most of all, Ralph is happy to offer comfort to customers who have difficult projects or seemingly-impossible deadlines.
At home in Shoreview, Ralph is married to Kathy and they have two children in elementary school. In his free time, Ralph enjoys coaching his kids in basketball and soccer, or fishing and jet-skiing on Turtle Lake in the summer. The Tuff family also enjoys playing with their latest addition – a mellow and cuddly King Charles Cavalier named Ramze.
