Tammy Nystuen – Vice President of Marketing
Tammy joined the company in February 2007 and brings 20 years of marketing, communications and public relations experience to GLS.  As vice president of marketing, Tammy looks forward to helping GLS build upon the strategies that have made it an industry-leading provider of Integrated Communication Solutions^SM – pushing the company to even higher levels of service, quality and growth. 

Prior to joining GLS, Tammy was senior director of corporate communications and public relations at Select Comfort.  Before that, she actually started working with GLS during her eight-year career as a freelance marketing and public relations consultant, providing strategic marketing direction and leadership for the company for more than four years.

Tammy is an active member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), having served on its board of directors for four years.  She also earned her accreditation in public relations (APR) through PRSA in 1995.  In addition, Tammy is a member of the American Marketing Association, and serves as a volunteer with the Twin Cities chapter of the American Red Cross.

Tammy holds a Bachelor’s degree in mass communications from St. Cloud State University and has completed the mini-MBA program at the University of St. Thomas. 

As a life-long resident of Minnesota, Tammy enjoys boating, swimming and water sports, and is happiest when she’s on one of the state’s “10,000 lakes.”  She lives in Ham Lake, Minn., with her husband, Jeff, and two young sons.
