Goodman Marketing Partners Congratulations to San Rafael, California-based Goodman Marketing Partners, the latest recipient of the GLS President’s Choice Award! Selected for its innovative­—and highly successful—direct mail program on behalf of Russell ETFs, the campaign was designed to introduce the client’s new products—Exchange Traded Funds—to investment community professionals.

The launch included three mailings to different audiences: broker/dealers, registered financial advisors and institutional investors. Two mailings involved materials enclosed in simple but striking black envelopes while a third involved a unique 3D package.

The 3D package—the campaign centerpiece—was designed from the ground up to fit in a USPS Priority Mail flat-fee box, to reduce packaging and postage costs. Inside was a cleverly—and tastefully—designed die-cut tri-fold package with a letter and various collateral nested in side pockets. The center featured a webcast invitation and behind it was housed the gift: a gorgeous, leather-bound journal subtly de-bossed with the client’s logo and surrounded by a discardable belly band printed with an eye-catching graphic.

GLS Account Executive Geoff Blumer worked with the agency’s team throughout development and President/Creative Director Carolyn Goodman said the project won both accolades and positive results from the client and the target audiences.
