Doug Hammerseng - Vice President of Sales

Doug joined GLS in November 2004 and provides strategic sales leadership for the company, helping to strengthen GLS’ position as an industry leader. Doug has more than 30 years of experience in the printing industry, serving in key leadership positions for prominent printing companies across the Midwest.

His primary mission is helping GLS achieve an unprecedented level of growth and momentum moving forward. “GLS has long been an industry leader in the areas of creative, print, mailing and distribution,” he said. “It’s my mission to help the company build on its current success to become a leading provider of Integrated Communication Solutions for clients of all shapes and sizes.”

Prior to joining GLS, Doug was regional sales manager for Relizon, where he was responsible for directing and coordinating the company’s Minnesota sales operations. During his 12-year tenure with the company, Doug also served as vice president of sales and as marketing director. Previous to that, he spent 14 years with Moore Business Forms, where he held a variety of leadership positions.

Doug holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska and is an active member of the University’s alumni association. He lives in Minnetonka, Minn., with his wife, Peggy. He has four grown children and 2 granddaughters. An avid sports enthusiast, you can often find Doug cheering on two of his favorite teams – the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Green Bay Packers.
